This is a communcations toolkit that resulted from the work done during the EU-funded “Reframing the message” project. The toolkit offers basic knowledge about the project, the reflections on communication and information work that developed throughout its duration, and how the experiences learned can help organisations reframe their messages.
The toolkit contains be a theoretical and a practical part. The former introduces the theories on which the project was built an out how these theories have been embodied in a variety of contexts. The practical part lays out various phases of communication work. It contains tips on how to write constructive stories that engage recipients, as well as suggestions on how to work with media.
The resource was created for the members of the project as well as for other NGOs working on development-related issues.
