We will have the kick-off event of Northern Europe Knowledge Exchange Partnerships events taking place in Scotland on 13–14 of January 2020. The title of the event is 'Education, inequality and critical global citizenship – local realities/global contexts'.

The seminar will bring together researchers and practitioners from different national contexts in Northern Europe to explore the research-policy-practice connections between critical global citizenship education and work in school settings that addresses the impacts of inequality and disadvantage. The aims are to develop a shared set of proposals as a basis for pursuing collaborative research and knowledge exchange funding and to support wider engagement on these issues. The seminar will link to further events in Copenhagen in Spring 2020 and in the Hague in Summer 2020.
