In Latvia, several actions and street action events were organized with the motto "Think globally, act locally."

The campaign aims to involve people in promoting global sustainability. Throughout the summer, the campaign activates and encourages people to talk publicly about what they are already doing or would like to do to live better themselves and not pose a threat to future generations.

As part of the campaign, 2 photo stands were created, located in the centre of Jekabpils. The stand "I am an angel of the Earth because…" symbolizes that everyone can protect the world by acting sustainably every day. The stand "I can do good to the world" symbolizes each person's responsibility to help others. Everyone must lend their support so that the future is better for all.

Jēkabpils residents and city guests are invited to take photos at these stands and share the pictures on social networks (FB, etc.). With photos, people can write examples from their lives of how they are helping the world get better. For example, I am an angel of the Earth because I do not use plastic containers; I can do good for the world because I don't buy too many clothes.

The campaign also created the Global Goals Bus, which visually reminds people of the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals, or Global Goals. The global destination bus will run on different routes between different Latvian cities.
